Bolt Brothers Cycles is located in the historic district of Waxhaw, NC. Our doors officially opened after October 1, 2004, but the vision came long before.

Native to the area, owner, Will Bolt, has always dreamed of starting his own business. After moving out to Waxhaw, the dream began to take shape. And the story goes like this...

Will, and his brother Mark, have long been avid cyclists and have a passion for anything related to the sport of cycling. Born and raised in Charlotte, they have seen the city grow and prosper. Both brothers, over the years, have actively competed in cycling events and on and off worked for other bike shops. Their goal is to combine the functionality of a shop to meet the needs of the community in a laid back atmosphere where people can come and just hang out!

We offer service, maintenance and sales of new and used bicycles. Our bike lines include Fuji, Moots and KHS. Flybars are also available. We have an array of bicycle accessories such as DeFeet socks, Camelbacks, Bolt Brothers shirts and much, much more.

With some of the best road riding on the outskirts of Charlotte and Cane Creek Park, just down the road for mountain biking, the community of Waxhaw seemed to be the perfect place to open Bolt Brothers Cycles. So...come and visit today!
